Installing
|
Installation is relatively simple, roughly in order :
- Download the newest 1.x install file here,
Download the alpha 2.x install file here, or see a list of the versions on the
download page
- Unpack : tar xvzf phpmyaccess-1.x.x.tar.gz
- Read the README.TXT file in the phpmyaccess directory
- I bet you didn't read the README file :-)
- Create your database.
- Insert the tables into the database
- Make sure password etc. are changed in the dbaccess.php file to what you set up earlier
- Place the phpMyAccess files in the web directory
- Start Up your browser, and point it at the right location
